IN ENEMY TERRITORY
After shooting down their third MiG-21, their F-4 is hit by an enemy fire, is consumed by flames and forces Locher to eject. Through wits and courage, he becomes the pilot who survives the longest time in enemy territory before being rescued.

In 1972 his F-4 Fighter Jet was shot down over North Vietnam. Suffering from shock, he’s captured and sent to the infamous “Hanoi Hilton” where he remains until his release in 1973.
